I don't know about you, but I've been wanting to go apple picking for a few weeks now. Doesn't it seem like the perfect way to celebrate autumn? I've never made an apple pie completely from scratch before, but I'd really like to try - check out these DIY apple pie toppers I made for Oh Happy Day!
oooh my favourite post of yours yet!! so darn cute! kathleen, don't be intimidated by a homemade pie - it's surprisingly easy! my only tip is you want to barely combine the pie dough, you'll still want pieces of cold butter visible.that's the key to a delicious crust - hardly mixing the dough at all! xo

ReplyDeleteThanks Iris! Pom pom makers are the best! You can totally make pom poms without them, but I find they save a lot of time and you end up with plusher pom poms.
